Travel Mode allows you to change your location to another city and lets you connect with people in a different place. This is perfect for planning ahead before a trip to explore potential matches in a new location.
How to turn on Travel mode
- Tap the settings icon from your profile tab
- Tap the ‘travel’ (under ‘location’)
- Search for the place you want to virtually travel to. Bumble will now show you profiles from that area for the next 7 days
How it works
- You can only appear in one location at a time using Travel mode
- It won’t change your actual GPS—you’ll only be in that place virtually
- Once activated, your People tab will be filled with profiles from your selected location
- You can turn off or change your Travel mode location anytime through your profile settings (the same way you turned it on)
- You can only use Travel mode through the app - it’s not available on the web
- You’ll need a Bumble Premium or Premium+ subscription to make use of Travel mode
- Once you switch on Travel mode, you’ll have a ‘travel mode’ banner on your profile
